It is easy to talk about change. Everybody can do it. Committing to the change is a whole different story. We are so addicted to our unique perception of the facts that we do not see ourselves in others actions. Not only that, each one of our five senses gives us a piece of the external information, our brain interprets with past references that were labeled as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative, such as the box in which we lived when we thought the earth was flat. An interpretation will always be limited if we do not see what is behind. We do not need bionic vision. We need first to harmonize with the facts, so we can figure out the attitude that suits towards what is best.
What do we all have in common? We are all the creators of our own reality. Our actions are revealed in others, in our interactions. Since the reality does not come with an explanatory leaflet designating what was the behaviour we had in the past, which led to the effect that we live in today, acting as victim seems to be the most pointed option. If we start talking about responsibility, we get ready to run away, because we always want an external approval. It was not looking for external approval that the most decorated Olympian of all time broke more records this year. In an interview he says that every time he jumps in the pool, is to be better than himself and to have fun.
Growing up is an act of seeing ourselves, in the sense of being proud of ourselves. It is to have the audacity to take care of what is true to ourselves. One way of accomplishing that is to talk less. Let’s first act towards the best. We’ll talk later when we have done what has to be done for our desire. Putting the responsibility of our lives in another lane that is not ours, will always be a temporary solution. The key question that puts us on the platform to advance is: What is my desire? What can I do for my desire right now?
Change now and live a different effect.
