Mankind’s biggest doubt is whether or not we are responsible for our own destiny. Despite the neverending search for spiritual growth, nothing has changed in the last four millenniums. When something that cannot be explained by our rational and logical intelligence happens, we tend to push our responsibility to something external to ourselves.
In every kind of belief system, there is a fear of the superior. We notice that things happen, apparently, against our will. It feels like there is a “secret plan” that us poor mortals know nothing about; a set of rules that must be respected and feared. But, in 2015, science already knows that the atomic reality in which we find ourselves is of our own creation. In other words, everything we think and feel transforms into the consciousness that will define our future realities.
The shelter and comfort of doctrines serve only to deny our individual responsibility for our own lives. We think that there is no harm in choosing a life ruled by faith, but it actually works just like a drug: immediate comfort and future dependency.Being responsible for our own lives means accepting our most intimate and strong desires as the truth. Furthermore, working to achieve them without any kind of limitation, other than from events that appear along the way.
Every incident that enters our lives serves the purpose of helping us grow. We should grasp it with the happiness of a child, as if we had the sole desire to learn everything we could with our five senses. To assume control of our lives, all we have to do is take responsibility for everything that enters our realities.
Take care of the cause and control the effect.
